Regardless of who you are and what you do for a living, at some point or another, you will find yourself selling something.
You might sell physical goods (books), services (pool cleaning) or your time (consulting). You might need to sell your image / brand by convincing prospective clients or employers of your abilities and qualifications.
Here’s something worth knowing: The people you’re selling to will almost always base their opinion of your fee / product around the value they think they’re getting (perceived value).
Before marketing yourself / your products, ask yourself this:
1. Apart from supplying what I’ll be paid for, how can I increase the value that I bring to the table?
2. What meaningful problem can I/my product solve for my prospective client?
