2016 will be over in 61 days. The finish line is in sight. This year will soon be a thing of the past.
Most people will start to “slow down” and “take things easy” because the general belief is that the end of the year is a time for winding things down.
And this is where the plot is lost.
You didn’t start the year just to wait for it to end. You weren’t created to always be on the lookout for a few days off. You were built with all the tools required to craft a life that will be remembered as a masterpiece.
You were created to live with passion; to do things that you will be immensely proud of.
If you’re focused on your #BigDream, you don’t slow down now. If anything, you become so insanely focused that your output over the next 60 days makes the rest of the year look as if you were on holiday.
The difference between winners and everyone else is that winners multiply their efforts as they get closer to the finish line. They don’t back down and they don’t lull themselves into a false sense of achievement by only doing the things they feel like doing. They are obsessed with doing what needs to be done regardless of how distasteful it may be.
This is the point where you’ve got to remind yourself to continue waking up early, exercising daily, eating healthy and constantly realign your focus with your goals.
A year from now, you’ll wish you had amplified your efforts and taken massive action.
1. Save yourself the regret and commit to a set of clear goals.
2. Identify the amount of effort needed to achieve those goals.
3. Pledge to take massive action.
