I believe that broadly speaking, there are two kinds of needs:

  • Urgent (Requiring immediate action)
  • General (These are negotiable. A general need today may not even be on your radar a week from now)

  • Leaving those things that aren’t adding to your happiness
  • Keeping away from the people who don’t contribute to your peace of mind
  • Taking care of your health
  • Growing your knowledge
  • Increasing your self-awareness
  • Refining your character
  • Focusing monomaniacally on the people, ideas & circumstances that will grow you the most

Nobody’s going to hand you the life you want. You have to go out and fight for it.
