I believe that broadly speaking, there are two kinds of needs:
- Urgent (Requiring immediate action)
- General (These are negotiable. A general need today may not even be on your radar a week from now)
In my opinion, these are some of your immediate needs:
- Removing yourself from toxic situations
- Distancing yourself from toxic relationships
- Leaving those things that aren’t adding to your happiness
- Keeping away from the people who don’t contribute to your peace of mind
- Taking care of your health
- Growing your knowledge
- Increasing your self-awareness
- Refining your character
- Focusing monomaniacally on the people, ideas & circumstances that will grow you the most
Nobody’s going to hand you the life you want. You have to go out and fight for it.
